Wonderful walking and hiking trails show the beauty of "Franconian Switzerland" (Region Fränkische Schweiz) with spacious forests,  bold castles and ruins, the mysterious "tropfsteinhoehlen" (stalactite caves) and bizarre groups of rocks. Starting directly from our house an accessible and level hiking trail leads you into the small town Waischenfeld (air health resort, 2 km). Explore with our rental bikes the near-by environment or dare a boat ride with kayaks on the river "Wiesent". In our fitness room you exercise your muscles or test your reaction time at the ping-pong table. Relax on our sunny meadow or in the television area. For your children we created a sunny playground with slides, swings, sand box and ping-pong on a large meadow. Parking lots and garages are provided. Invigorate yourself at our breakfast buffet in the morning and enjoy our homemade cakes in the afternoon.
